Imagining the future of the advertising industry

As part of the Good Life 2030 journey, we have curated a unique series of deep, immersive workshops for leaders to reflect on the transformative shifts needed within the advertising and marketing communications industry to be in service of a sustainable and regenerative future in 2030, one compatible with visions of a new ‘Good Life’. 

 

A UNIQUE OFFERING WITHIN THE INDUSTRY

As far as we are aware, these workshops is currently the only experience for the industry to understand and explore what such a dramatic, necessary transformation might look and feel like for both society and the industry.

 

OVER 100 INDUSTRY LEADERS

The workshops have attracted leaders from top creative agencies like M&C Saatchi, adam&eve, Havas, Iris, AMV BBDO, Mindshare, MediaCom, Elvis and Mother, together with media owners and tech platforms like Facebook, Google, BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky, awards bodies Cannes Lions D&AD, industry bodies the Advertising Association and WPP, and even representatives from the UK Cabinet Office.

THE WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE

Together with our imagination partner at New Constellations, we have run these workshops with over 100 industry leaders. 

IMMERSIVE JOURNEY TO THE FUTURE

In these workshops, we take participants on an immersive journey to the future where they can imagine what their vision of 2030 might be like. We then share insights from the citizen research and deep soundscapes.

HOLDING SPACE FOR DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS

Our experts also hold space for people to express and explore the tension they experience working in the industry at this moment in time. We work with participants to enable them to identify the shifts that are necessary to take place 

We facilitate difficult but necessary conversations. We adopt a duty of care as guides, dancing with that tension to help adland to collectively cross the threshold into a new way of being – one that is in service of a new, regenerative and sustainable ‘ Good Life’.

In 2022

We are offering bespoke in-agency and in-person workshops. These in-agency workshops are deeper and thoughtful experiences for individual agencies to have the opportunity to imagine the future, explore tensions and difficult, and eventually to uncover what is next for their organisation to be in service of a ‘new ‘Good Life’ – one that is aligned to citizens’ visions, their visions and halving emissions in 2030.
